@numericcitizen @lmika @birming I don’t think it’s rude, but I don’t do it. I think it’s a combo of habits, norming, technology limitations, and processing style. Message boards and email encouraged complete multi sentence post creation. Twitter esp with early character limits forced short separate posts.
Real-time interaction was non-existent for the majority of the Internet, but now short bits can be important as a collective conversation evolves in near real time.
@numericcitizen currently it’s ChatGPT for personal M365 Copilot for work (we are Office 365). For personal Claude was my top for a year, but that fell because of capability gaps in multi modal requests.
@numericcitizen I’ve been systematically trying the paid versions for the major providers. One thing I like about Perplexity is that I can choose from their proprietary LLMs AND other vendors’ LLMs like Claude, Grok, and GPT5. I appreciate this openness, though Perplexity is not my favorite.
@mroutley way to stick with it!
@gages that take reminds me of the old “Munch Squad” segment from the My Brother My Brother and Me podcast… Some really fun quick service restaurant press releases got airtime over the years 😊 mbmbam.fandom.com/wiki/Munc…
