The kids had fun at their real first concert… Word Al at the State Fair Grandstand! He did an unexpected and excellent cover of You Can Call Me Al. Still full of energy, it was a great show!
MN State Fair Day with the kids went more smoothly than the last few years. They’re showing a healthy independence, but we’re still all hanging together.

Good vert training at the Brickyard trail. Feeling excited for Superior! 🏃
Last night I got in some good overnight training miles on the trail. I got some good practice taking out my poles, getting them ready, using them and then putting them away as well. 🏃🌙 I was spooked a couple of times by the deer… Unpredictable in the dark! 🦌🦃🐿️🐁
