Glad I fit in my Shamrock Shakeout run yesterday… Today would have been really slow going.

My son and I watched his teacher compete in a karate tournament. It was a first for both of us, as he just started karate a couple months ago. It was a fun time, lots of participants demonstrating their skills!

The kids are loving the Commodore 64! It’s rivaling the draw of the iPad which is saying something.

My workout yesterday was a long run preparing for Zion in under 6 weeks. It was so icy on the trails I’m calling it the Slip n Slide 50k.

Six weeks into the year there’s been a lot of rough running weather (ice, subzero, powder, slush). Still well on track for my annual mileage goal, though a bit off of my race training plan. Still feeling like I’m in a good spot.

I dropped my Plus subscription to ChatGPT when they announced ads and re-upped my Claude Pro subscription. This Anthropic post calls out their intentions regarding ads and makes me feel good about my decision.
