My son’s first T-Wolves basketball game πŸ€First 5,000 kids got an Ant jersey. Wolves won big!

Saw 6 deer out on my windy, rainy run today. Can you find all of them?

It’s scenes like this that make me grateful for trusted traveler programs.

Found some trails out in the greater Boston area πŸƒπŸ˜Š though I got a bit of course…

I appreciate the merchandising at this little bookstore.

Ran through every mud puddle I could find tonight. Surprised I stayed this clean.

With the nice weather yesterday my son tried his bike without training wheels, which was the bar to meet for getting his next (bigger and appropriately sized) bike. Found him some new wheels at a local bike shop.

Broke my run into two parts yesterday, with brunch at The Block in the middle. Definitely slower on the return voyage, but I think that was more the temp change (+20°) than the food in my stomach 🌑️

Didn’t realize that Brandon Sanderson has a video about the suggested reading order for his books. Of course he does. I’ll take his advice and start with πŸ“š Mistborn…unless someone out there strongly suggests otherwise.

What a fun time skiing with the fam, friends, and new friends at Giants Ridge!

Snow Cat doing some grooming…

Before and after… Blustering winds added a light coating after I passed through. ❄️ Hoping I can get out of the neighborhood…

Current audiobook started over the weekend… so much more depth than the movies. I appreciate the intrigue.

Got out for a nice Muddy Monday run at Elm Creek. Sunny and 50 is still so weird for this time of year in MN. πŸƒ

Pinewood derby build complete!

Skijammers Family day at Wild Mountain was a success! My daughter has made tremendous progress this season and it was a joy to have both kids skiing together today.

Tonight’s plans with the kids…

Listened to this podcast episode which chronicles a song (Rooms, by Megan Banning) that took a 40 year journey getting to live ears, then lets us hear the moment it arrived. Really cool. Hyperfixed podcast: Two birds, one hundred stones

I’m helping my son with his Pinewood Derby car. He designed it, we did the wood working today, and it’s almost ready for painting. I’ll bet his is the only one with a windhield when he races. 😎 πŸš—

While running near a marsh this morning I swear I could smell play-doh… Weird. πŸƒ
