Had breakfast with a friend and colleague this week. Love getting out to Benedict’s!

I hope he can always appreciate the simple pleasure of reading out loud to the dog. πŸ’Œ

Jersey Mike’s for lunch today, they’re donating 100% of sales (not just profits) to Special Olympics. Tasty… πŸ˜‹

Tonight I finished reading: The Darkling Child by Terry Brooks πŸ“š I like having some shorter books like this that I can crank through before driving into another big one.

Welcome to Minnesota, Coach Medved! πŸ€ Niko Medved Named Head Men’s Basketball Coach

Finished reading: Stillness Is the Key by Ryan Holiday πŸ“š I particularly appreciated the discussion of “Leisure” near the end. It’s a good way of characterizing why I run these days.

Finished reading: The Black Prism by Brent Weeks πŸ“š yeah, that was a fun one!

Great group run today. The sun felt warm on a crisp morning β˜€οΈπŸƒ

Did a late-season fire this afternoon. It was the kids' idea, though they got distracted by Mom’s iPad…my daughter came back around later to do some flame-watching with me. I enjoyed reading some of my new book Relentless Forward Progress πŸ“š

Great day today. I felt great on my morning run. Work was busy end-to-end, but made good progress on things. Also, my NCAA bracket isn’t busted, so that’s nice.

March Madness has begun! My day 1 upset picks have not panned out…but I have some aggressive picks down the stretch. I still have good upside but the odds seem longer already 🀞

I got micro.blog bookshelves working after a bit of fumbling around. Now I’ve backfilled the books from this year. My active fiction book is The Black Prism by Brent Weeks πŸ“š

Got out to Long Lake for some trail running tonight…good group of us out there! A bit slick and muddy in spots, but a wonderful time in the woods.

Every time I see this implementation of a bar graph I shake my head… It’s just wrong in so many ways πŸ˜Άβ€πŸŒ«οΈ

My son’s first T-Wolves basketball game πŸ€First 5,000 kids got an Ant jersey. Wolves won big!

Saw 6 deer out on my windy, rainy run today. Can you find all of them?

It’s scenes like this that make me grateful for trusted traveler programs.

Found some trails out in the greater Boston area πŸƒπŸ˜Š though I got a bit of course…

I appreciate the merchandising at this little bookstore.

Ran through every mud puddle I could find tonight. Surprised I stayed this clean.
